In Gardens of Patterned Breezes
“In gardens of patterned breezes
where scented rivers flow
I come and go.”
“I wake to see dawn clouds dancing,
on a morning shot through with incandescent beauty,
in a world riddled with fierce tribulations.”
“My grandmother used to sit in the blue chair and do her darning, bits of patchwork and invisible mending.
Now, when I sink into the worn velour,
I drop in on her dreams.”
